After exams are over, when I realize that I still have the law review write-on to worry about.

What lips my lips have kissed, and where, and why,
I have forgotten, and what arms have lain
Under my head till morning; but the rain
Is full of ghosts tonight, that tap and sigh
Upon the glass and listen for reply,
And in my heart there stirs a quiet pain
For unremembered lads that not again
Will turn to me at midnight with a cry.
Thus in winter stands the lonely tree,
Nor knows what birds have vanished one by one,
Yet knows its boughs more silent than before:
I cannot say what loves have come and gone,
I only know that summer sang in me
A little while, that in me sings no more.

- Roommate: I almost put vodka in my red bull this morning. Does that make me an alcoholic?
- Me: No, that makes you a law student.

- Roommate: I'm out of fucks to give.
- Me: Me too. I have some on backorder, though.
- Roommate: Are they going to get in on time?
- Me: I doesn't look good.
- Roommate: Well, what about a "fucks to give" loan?
- Me: Yeah, I took one out last week. Spent the last of my fucks to give on Contracts.
- Roommate: Uh oh.
- Me: Yep.

love love love this movie. bought it for 5 bucks the other day. Per usual, I’m half happy about it, half insulted that that’s the going price for one of the best movies ever.

Now and then
(though less often than I should)
I have to stop and really appreciate the kindness of people. It can be so unexpected; so selfless. It’s what should be, and what often is. If you stop to see it.
